CONTAINER TRANSFERRED
Sunday, 23 November
Ownership of the green shipping container used for storage by the Old Boys at Waratah Oval has been transferred to Waratah Mayfield District Cricket Club.
The cricket club earlier this year expressed interest in the container for their ground maintenance program when officials realised the container was rarely being used by the Old Boys’ Association.
Discussions resulted in formal approval and ownership of the container was recently transferred which the Old Boys committee believed was a good outcome for both clubs.
Historical rugby club items in the container are now stored by the Old Boys committee.
